LOKEN, Circuit Judge.

Charles Schrader, Lisa High Wolf, Clayton High Wolf, and Shaun Keith appeal their convictions for violating 18 U.S.C. § 111, which punishes any person who "forcibly assaults, resists, opposes, impedes, intimidates, or interferes with" federal officers engaged in the performance of official duties. We reverse the convictions because the district court erred in instructing the jury that the adverb "forcibly" modifies only the verb "assaults...
