The appellant, Claude Wesley Gates, appeals from the revocation of his probation. He pleaded guilty to the offense of possession of a forged instrument in the second degree on October 22, 1991. He was sentenced as a habitual offender to 10 years' imprisonment. His sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for five years. On December 2, 1992, his probation was revoked.
