This case comes before us on a petition for certiorari filed by the town of Barrington (town) seeking review of an arbitration award issued by a board organized and acting pursuant to the terms of G.L. 1956 (1986 Reenactment) chapter 9.2 of title 28, entitled the "Policeman's Arbitration Act."
