O'BRIEN, Justice.

John Michael Bane was indicted for common law premeditated murder and for felony murder committed during the perpetration of a robbery. In a jury trial he was found guilty of murder in the first degree in the perpetration of a robbery. After a sentencing hearing the jury found that defendant should be put to death by electrocution. The aggravating circumstances warranting the death penalty were: (1) the murder was especially heinous...
