Mark Neff was convicted by a jury of being a felon in possession of a firearm, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1). Sometime after beginning its deliberations, but before rendering its verdict, the jury sent a note to the judge asking him to "please clarify some events for us."
