OPINION

MIRABAL, Justice.

A jury found appellant, Valerie Susan Taylor, guilty of murdering her four-year-old daughter. The jury assessed punishment at confinement for life. We affirm.

Appellant pled "not guilty by reason of insanity." The State conceded appellant was mentally disturbed, but took the position appellant knew the difference between right and wrong at the time of the killing. Further, the State showed that appellant smoked marihuana...
