Appellant was charged in a single indictment with the offenses of attempted capital murder, Tex.Penal Code Ann. §§ 15.01 (West Supp.1993) & 19.03 (West 1989 & Supp.1993), and burglary of habitation, Tex.Penal Code Ann. § 30.02 (West 1989).
