The St. Bernard Association of Educators ("SBAE"), filed suit against the St. Bernard Parish School Board seeking to enforce a collective bargaining agreement. The School Board filed exceptions to SBAE's suit, and then filed a reconventional demand asking for a declaratory judgment on an issue of sick pay for teachers of St. Bernard Parish. The SBAE filed a motion to dismiss the original petition, with prejudice, and then filed an answer to the School...
