Relator, Albert Burnthorne, applies for review of his misdemeanor conviction of disturbing the peace, in violation of La.R.S. 14:103. He was charged by citation filed on April 15, 1993, and was arraigned on May 13, 1993, at which time he pled not guilty. The case proceeded to trial on July 1, 1993, before the First Parish Court in Jefferson Parish. After hearing the evidence the trial judge found relator guilty...
