This case involves a claim of alleged medical malpractice. The plaintiff, Ronda Hall, claimed that the defendant, Dr. Ion Dumitru, performed a tubal ligation that was unsuccessful. Due to the alleged ineffectiveness of the procedure, the plaintiff later became pregnant. She sought damages related to her subsequent pregnancy.
