In this lawsuit, plaintiffs Elmer and Shirley Ferris have sued defendant State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company, claiming benefits under certain underinsured motorist insurance contracts. Mrs. Ferris was injured in an automobile accident, and she and Mr. Ferris now seek to collect from State Farm proceeds for injuries not adequately covered by other insurance and which, as argued by the Ferrises...
