FACTS

After becoming suspicious of packages being delivered to 1011 N. Bridge Street in Carbondale, Illinois, postal inspectors exposed one such parcel to a narcotics trained canine. The dog reacted in a way suggesting the presence of a narcotics odor. The package was then seized and later opened pursuant to a federal search warrant.
