Tommy Sumpter appeals his conviction and sentence for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. We find error and reverse.
Appellant Sumpter stipulated that he had been previously convicted of a felony, an element of the crime at issue here. See § 790.23(1), Fla. Stat. (1989).
