Following a bench trial in the Fairbanks superior court, George "Biff" McGlauflin was convicted of several counts of first-degree sexual abuse of a minor, AS 11.41.440(a)(2), and first-degree sexual assault under former AS 11.41.410(a)(3) (the older statutory provision covering consensual acts of intercourse with children under the age of 16).
