Defendant Stefan Moore was charged in the circuit court of Champaign County with one count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse (Ill.Rev.Stat.1991, ch. 38, par. 12-16(c)(1)(i)) and three counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault (Ill.Rev.Stat.1991, ch. 38, par. 12-14(b)(1)). The charges stemmed from acts allegedly committed by defendant upon his niece, L.M., with whose family he was living when the alleged incidents...
