On July 22, 1986, claimant sustained a work-related injury to his knee for which he later sought compensation benefits. On August 11, 1987, he entered into a settlement agreement with his employer whereby the employer agreed that the 56.32 weeks of temporary, total disability, which had already been paid, would be followed by a 51.4% permanent, partial disability benefit.
