The defendant, Leon Williams, was charged by grand jury indictment with the second degree murder of Gerald Levy, in violation of La.R.S. 14:30.1. After a trial by a jury of twelve, the defendant was found guilty as charged and later sentenced to the mandatory term of life imprisonment without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence. On appeal, the defendant raises five assignments of error concerning the composition of the jury venire...
