The appellants, Nikki Sue Zinger and Daniel Wayne Risher, were convicted of the first degree murder of Zinger's mother, Linda Holley, and sentenced to life imprisonment. Zinger and Risher argue the Trial Court erred by (1) failing to grant a directed verdict in their favor, (2) giving a jury instruction on circumstantial evidence other than the model instruction approved by this Court, (3) failing to grant a motion for new trial when it was discovered...
