BROWN, Justice.

This appeal arises out of the second-degree murder conviction of the appellant, Jerry Anderson, for beating a man to death. Anderson was sentenced to fifteen years in prison and fined $5,000. He appeals on insufficient evidence of purpose and causation and further on the trial court's refusal to allow into evidence the fact that he had no felony record. The asserted grounds have no merit, and we affirm.
