Barbara Keeling, the plaintiff, owned one lot in block 2 and two lots in block 3 of the original Town of Cotton Plant. Her home was situated on the lots in block 3, and some type of structure was on the lot in block 2. On May 27, 1988, the bank loaned $12,000.00 to the plaintiff. The plaintiff executed a $12,000.00 installment promissory note to the bank and a mortgage as security for the note. The bank also required the plaintiff to insure the property...
