GARRARD, Judge.

A jury convicted Roach of attempted murder, attempted robbery, possession of cocaine and carrying a handgun without a license. The evidence revealed that Roach attempted the armed robbery of a liquor store in South Bend, Indiana, that he attempted to shoot the clerk on duty in the store, that he was apprehended at the scene and was found to be in possession of cocaine.
