On 1 March 1989 plaintiffs filed this action for breach of express and implied warranties and requested damages in the amount of $7,762.56 arising from the purchase of a new 1986 Yugo automobile. The case was tried without a jury, and on 19 March 1991 the trial court entered judgment for plaintiffs in the amount of $9,659.56. This amount represented the cash down payment, the amount financed, the amount paid for maintenance of liability and collision...
