Plaintiff, Bernice Matlow, is the operator of a certain oil lease in Marion County known as the "Kagy lease." Plaintiff owns 65% of the working interest in the Kagy lease. Defendant, Vicki Rosenfeld, owns a 5% working interest in the lease, which she acquired in a negotiated settlement of the estate of her father.
