This appeal is from a $1,750,000 judgment entered in the District of Connecticut, Ellen Bree Burns, District Judge, on a jury verdict finding appellant National Railroad Passenger Corp. (Amtrak) liable to appellee Dolores Schneider. The jury also found that appellant Greater Hartford Transit District (GHTD) was not liable to Schneider, but nevertheless found for GHTD in its indemnification action against Amtrak even though no liability...
