This bankruptcy appeal presents the question, not yet settled in this circuit, whether an award of counsel fees and expenses pursuant to 11 U.S.C. § 330(a) requires a predicate judicial finding that the claimed fees and expenses are incurred for services that benefitted the debtor's estate.
