Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District, Division Two.

December 13, 1993.

CROW, Judge.

Craig M. McKenney ("McKenney"), doing business as MCM Restoration Company, sued Joplin Union Station, Inc., ("Union Station") and others, seeking a $43,057.50 judgment against Union Station and a mechanic's lien on property owned by it. The trial court awarded McKenney a money judgment as prayed, but denied a mechanic's lien because McKenney was an original contractor and failed to comply with the notice requirement of § 429.012, RSMo 1986.
