Elizabeth Gunter, a school teacher for Pocatello School District No. 25 (the "District"), sued the District after it failed to renew her employment contract for a fourth consecutive year. The trial court granted Gunter's motion for summary judgment ruling that the District was required to place Gunter on probation before terminating her and the District's failure to do so was a breach of the duty of good faith and fair dealing implied in Gunter's employment...
