Plaintiff and defendant were married in September 1973, and lived together as husband and wife until their separation in August 1988. On 7 November 1989 plaintiff filed a complaint against defendant seeking an absolute divorce and equitable distribution. After a trial on 6 and 8 November 1990, and closing arguments on 6 January 1992, the trial court entered an Equitable Distribution Judgment on 8 June 1992.
