Defendant appeals his conviction by a jury of second degree murder, § 565.021, RSMo 1986, and armed criminal action, § 571.015, RSMo 1986. He was sentenced by the court, in accordance with the jury's recommendation, to life imprisonment on the murder charge and a term of 30 years' imprisonment on the armed criminal action charge.
