A jury found Edna Roberta Webster and Donita Dockstader guilty of petit theft. After the magistrate entered judgments of conviction against them, Webster and Dockstader appealed their convictions to the district court claiming their convictions were invalid because the prosecutor failed to fully comply with their requests for discovery, and because of jury misconduct.
