In a bankruptcy adversary proceeding, the bankruptcy court for the Middle District of Tennessee held that Howard Batie used a materially false financial statement to secure a loan to purchase an airplane. The bankruptcy court, the district court, and we all agree that, because he deceived the lender in using this statement, his indebtedness to Investors Credit Corporation is nondischargeable...
