OPINION

THOMAS, Chief Justice.

Cathy Williams and Krystal Stanberry sued U.S. Natural Resources, Inc., the manufacturer of a defective furnace, to recover damages from a house fire caused by the furnace. They filed suit more than ten years after the furnace was installed in 1973. U.S. Natural Resources had nothing to do with its installation. The court entered a summary judgment in favor of U.S. Natural Resources based on the statute of repose. See
