Appellant Arley Lawrence (Lawrence) and respondent Forrest Jones (Jones) entered into an agreement for the purchase of land that Jones owned in Bonner County. Before closing, Jones notified Lawrence of his intent not to proceed with the sale, and Lawrence filed this action for specific performance and damages. The district court granted Jones' motion for summary judgment, finding the contract between the parties unenforceable because of various ambiguities...
