Elvin, Judge, that dismissed his slander claim against defendant Piedmont Airlines. After the plaintiff had presented his case to the jury, the district court granted Piedmont's motion under Fed.R.Civ.P. 50 for judgment as a matter of law, on the ground that Weldy had not met his burden...
