This is an appeal of a divorce case. Jerry Brook initially filed for divorce. Bonnie Brook subsequently filed a counterclaim requesting that the trial court appoint her as the sole managing conservator of their only child or that the trial court appoint her and her parents as joint managing conservators of the child.
