On July 19, 1993, after sixteen days of trial and two and one-half days of deliberations, a jury found defendant Jerome Washington and two co-defendants guilty of conspiracy to distribute cocaine. In addition, Jerome Washington was convicted on three separate counts: two counts of actual distribution of cocaine, and one count of possessing a gun with an obliterated serial number.
