Petitioner seeks an order of filiation and an order of visitation for an 11-year-old child born as a result of respondent's successful insemination of herself with his sperm. Since her birth, the child has lived with respondent, respondent's lesbian partner, and the partner's biological child, also born as a result of artificial insemination with the semen of a known donor.
