On November 28, 1991 at approximately 8:30 p.m., two black males robbed a Git-N-Go Store, which is a convenience store in Des Moines. A witness saw the men leave in an older model green Cadillac. Police officer Brent Hommer saw a car fitting this description driving on Park Avenue. Hommer observed the driver of the car was a white person and at least one of the passengers was black.
