Petitioner, Michael Anthony Bruno, was tried in the Circuit Court for Harford County on stipulated evidence and was convicted of first degree rape by the trial judge (Whitfill, J.). Bruno appealed his conviction, challenging the admissibility of incriminating statements that he made to three different individuals.
