This case comes before us again on appeal from the circuit court of Cook County, following our remand for resentencing. Defendants, Dwayne Curtis and Ricky Jennings, were originally tried and convicted by a jury before Judge Will E. Gierach. Judge Gierach later sentenced defendants to concurrent prison terms of 50 years for attempted murder, 50 years for armed violence, 10 years for 3 counts of aggravated battery...
