The plaintiff, Gary Nunes (Nunes) brought the underlying medical malpractice action to recover for injuries allegedly occasioned by the negligence of the defendants. The case was tried before a jury, and a $1,000,000 judgment was entered in favor of the plaintiff. Subsequently, the parties settled the dispute between themselves for $875,000. The judgment and dispute between the named plaintiff and the named defendants...
