Plaintiff, Leroy O'Ryan, brought this action under the Federal Employers' Liability Act (FELA) (45 U.S.C.A. § 51 et seq. (West 1986)) against his employer, defendant, CSX Transportation, Inc. Plaintiff now appeals from a judgment of the circuit court of St. Clair County in the amount of $291,500 entered after the jury returned a verdict for plaintiff in the amount of $583,000, reduced by 50% for plaintiff...
