Following a jury trial, defendant, Perry V. Fowler, was convicted of aggravated criminal sexual assault (Ill.Rev.Stat.1989, ch. 38, par. 12-14(b)(1)), of Jessica K., age 7, and was sentenced to a term of ten years.
