GORMAN, Justice.

The defendant, Ellis D. Watts, appeals his conviction for aggravated criminal sexual assault (Ill.Rev.Stat.1989, ch. 38, par. 12-14). We affirm.

According to the record, Sonja Brown testified that on January 4, 1990, around 3 a.m., she was walking near downtown Peoria when a car pulled up next to her.
