Robert Lee Davis was convicted of escape as an habitual offender in a bench trial in Cause No. 18,599 and sentenced to twenty-five years' confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division, the minimum possible term under TexPenal Code Ann. § 12.42(d) (Vernon Supp.1992).
