The City of Everett appeals from an order granting Key Bank of Puget Sound's motion for summary judgment. The trial court ruled that a holder of a security interest in a vehicle may retain its interest in that vehicle after forfeiture even though the secured party received notification pursuant to RCW 69.50.505(c) and did not file a claim under RCW 69.50.505(d) to preserve that interest.
