The appellant, Jerome Harris, was indicted on October 4, 1991, for the offenses of rape in the first degree, robbery in the first degree, and kidnapping in the first degree. On March 5, 1992, he pleaded guilty to all three offenses as charged in the indictment, and on May 7, 1992, he was sentenced to 20 years' imprisonment for each offense.
