OPINION

KAPLAN, Justice.

A jury convicted Sanford Earl Russell of murder. Punishment was assessed at seventy-five years' confinement and a $10,000 fine. In two points of error, appellant contends that the trial court erred in failing to instruct the jury that: (1) a reasonable doubt on the issue of self-defense requires acquittal, and (2) the State has the burden to disprove self-defense beyond a reasonable doubt.
