After a jury trial, defendant, Samuel J. Yarbrough, was found guilty as charged of armed robbery, attempted second degree murder, attempted aggravated rape, and aggravated crime against nature. He was convicted and sentenced to 66 years imprisonment without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence on the charge of armed robbery, as enhanced by the habitual offender law.
