Defendant, Earnest Scott, was charged with possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, a violation of La.R.S. 40:967 A(1). Defendant pled not guilty. Subsequently, counsel enrolled for defendant and filed several pre-trial motions. Additionally, two motions to continue were filed by defense counsel; these were granted by the trial court.
